Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP)
The Senior FMNP provides coupons to eligible seniors to use for the purchase of fresh vegetables, fruits, cut herbs, and honey at approved farmers markets and farm stands. USDA Operating Microloans Program
Microloans are smaller ($35k to $300k), direct farm operating loans with a shortened application process and reduced paperwork designed to meet the needs of smaller, non-traditional, and niche type operations. Information for Vendors
Among the stated goals of the Ruston Farmers' Market is to provide a direct-sales venue for Louisiana farmers, growers, and producers of local value-added products. We want to create a profitable market for our vendors that also provides high quality, fresh, and healthy food to our customers. In the service of this goal, any vendor wishing to participate in the Ruston Farmers' Market must read the rules and regulations as have been determined by the board of North Louisiana Farm Fresh, in accordance with state laws and local ordinances, and in conference with our vendors and customers. It is also recommended that vendors review the appropriate sections of the Food Handling Guide and Cottage Food law referenced on the side bar. Prior to participation in the market, vendors must submit a completed application to the board of North Louisiana Farm Fresh. Any questions concerning participation eligibility, the application process, or any of the rules should be directed to:
